  3. Shared Calendars • What they are • Online calendars that can be accessed and shared by multiple people. • Why they’re useful • Promotes organization. • Easy to collaborate with colleagues. • Everyone is on the same track.

  4. Blogs • What they are • Personal web pages that anyone can obtain to post any information they choose. Traditionally, a journal like entry. • Why they’re useful • Free information can be found here. • Healthy way to vent and relieve stress.

  5. Studystack • What it is • A public website whose purpose is to help students study by providing an online flash card service. • Why it’s useful • Hard copy notes are outdated. • Easy to go from word document to studystack.

  6. Skype • What it is • Skype is a downloadable program that provides a video call service for free. • Why it’s useful • Skype is both used to conduct business and also gives people an opportunity to reconnect with distant friends.

  7. Priceline • What it is • It gives leisure travelers the access to the best travel deals and discounts around. • Why it’s useful • Users save can money on discount airline tickets, cheap hotel rooms, car rentals, vacation packages and cruises.

  8. Zillow • What it is • Your edge in real estate! • Search for homes for sale, homes for rent, see home values, view recently sold homes, and check mortgage rates. • Why it’s useful • Frequently updates information. • Provides access to great deals.

  9. Twitter • What it is • It’s a social networking and microblogging service. • Why it’s useful • It’s used for direct communication among social groups and organizations.
