WILDLIFE • THERE ARE LOTS OF ANIMALS IN QUEENSLAND SUCH AS KANGAROOS,CROCODILES AND REPTILES.THEY MOST DANGEROUS IS THE BULL SHARK.THE BULL SHARKS IN QUEENSLAND ARE APEX PREDATORS.IN 1974 THERE WA S A FLOOD IN BRISBANE AND THERE WERE BULL SHARKS IN THE WATER!THERE ARE DANGEROUS REPTILES THER TOO LIKE THE GREEN TREE SNAKE.THIS SNAKE IS VENOUMOUS AND MOVES WITH LIGHTNING SPEEDTHROUGH THE TREE'S. Another reptile is the red eyed tree frog who has suction pads on its feet so it can climb wet leaves and trees.

  3. SPORT • Sport is an important part of Australian culture. Golf is the most played, organised sport and touch football is the most team played sport. Netball is the most popular female sport while rugby league is by far the most viewed and spectated sport. Aussie rules has a long history in Queensland.   5. HISTORY • An aboriginal arrived approximately 50-60,000 years ago by boats or land bridges across Torres straight presumably from south-east Asia. There may have been 200-500,000 people. James Cook claimed the east coast under instructions by king George the III of England on the 22nd of august,1770 at possession island going eastern Australia. This included the president of Queensland, fighting between aborigines and settlers in colonial Queensland was more bloody than any other state.

Climate Most of Queensland experiences two weather seasons: a winter period of warm temperature and minimum rainfall and sultry summer period of hot sticky temperatures and higher levels of rainfall. There are five climate zones: hot humid summer {far north and coastal} warm humid summer (south east)hot dry summer (central west) hot dry summer (southern west)
