  3. Incarceration may result to more than just depression… Prisoners may also develop serious psychological problems because of social isolation

  5. Adaptation to incarceration is almost always impossible and difficult...Incarcerated people may sometimes be very disruptive and dysfunctional at times...maybe because of over thinking and remorse for the crime committed...

  7. Each day prisoners have to struggle to survive another day...Everyday, they live in fear and anxiety not knowing if they'll ever see the light of day again

  9. Incarceration is truly life-changing Social isolation, especially from the family, makes it more difficult for imprisoned people to cope with the life behind bars… This is when depression sets in…

Every incarceration is painful not just for the loved ones, but for the prisoners themselves as well… But, PAIN comes from their longing to finally be with their families again…Everyday, they would have to deal with the idea why they have to do their time behind bars…The thought and the sight of making their families suffer is above all painful than any other punishments the law could give…

  12. Acceptance of their faults and failures would mean so much to them… The family should make them feel that when they get to the end of the tunnel that a good LIFE is still waiting for them … Constant communication is important to somehow ease all their pains…
