Advising • Your advisor is listed on your eLion degree audit • Set up meeting or visit during office hours • Advisors have 20 or more advisees and many other responsibilities • Come prepared with questions and printed audit and handbook page if needed – Read handbook before setting up a meeting with your advisor • It is your responsibility to ensure that all graduation requirements are met

  15. Degree Audits • Used to track process toward degree completion • They show where you are lacking a requirement • Can be obtained from eLion • Explanation of degree audit can be found on the registrar’s web page • LOOK AT YOUR AUDIT!!!!

  16. Petitions • To make adjustments to degree audit • Make sure that transfer credits, AP credits, etc. show on the audits • Petitions must be submitted prior to the semester that you activate your intent to graduate • Forms can be picked up in 218 Sackett or www.engr.psu.edu/forms

  19. Other • Undergraduate teaching intern program – help faculty by presenting a lecture, grading papers, conducting help sessions, and being available to answer questions.   20. Other • Internships – gain experience, obtain knowledge of a discipline • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam – taken fall\spring of senior year. First step to professional registration. • Graduate school – discuss with advisor – Chi Epsilon holds a interest session every year
