Tiene terrazas de cultivo (andenes) • Denominación: Santuario histórico de Machu Picchu. • Declarada: Una de las nuevas maravillas del mundo (07/07/ 2 007). • Flora : Más de 200 especies de orquídeas. • Fauna: Zorro andino, oso con anteojos, colibrí, gallito de las rocas, etc. RECUERDA: Desde 1 983 está en la lista de la UNESCO para ser declarada: “Patrimonio de la Humanidad”.
