It is intended to give students multiple visual representations (images and video) about what they might see if they go on a safari as well as why people go on these adventures. This presentation will be used in conjunction with non-fiction texts to facilitate a Smarter Balanced approach to activities and assessments.W.K.2 Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to compose informative/explanatory texts in which they name what they are writing about and supply some information about the topic.

  3. What is a safari? A safari is an adventure that you go on to observe or hunt animals in their wild habitat. Most people go on safaris in Africa. Bend

  5. What do you do on a safari? Ride in the safety of a car Observe and take pictures of wild animals You may even get an up close experience.
