  13. Challenges • Craves spiritual enlightenment • Many have dismissed the Christian faith as weak, outdated, and irrelevant. • The failure of the Church is not its Theology, but its failure to apply what it Believes in a compelling way

  14. Challenges • Many in the pew are illiterate (82% of Americans believe “God helps those who help themselves” is a Bible verse) • Less than 1 in 7 is in a serious committed accountable relationship with a congregation

  15. RESOLVE #1Rekindle Passion We must rekindle our passion for God; recapture a sense of urgency about ministry and respond strategically to the challenges before us!

  16. RESOLVE #2Strategic Thrusts • Motivate people to pursue, embrace and live according to Biblical worldview • Allow the Church to be led by people whom God has called and anointed for that task • Develop new forums and formats through which people will experience, understand and serve God.

  17. RESOLVE #3To Be Revolutionary • Intimate Worship • Faith-Based Conversation • Intentional Spiritual Growth • Servanthood • Resource Investment • Spiritual Friendships • Family Faith
