San Jacinto Information • You are now a college student! • College conversations are not censored • College internet • College content • All communication is between the student and the professor • Grades and Attendance are not reported daily • Location restrictions for Clear Horizons students

San Jacinto Requirements • Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) • College readiness entrance exam • Students must take it before beginning any college classes • Meningitis Vaccination Documentation • Must be on file with SJC before registering for classes • Cannot be over 5 years old • Submit to the Office of Enrollment Services

Bus Routes – Morningsfrom Zoned High Schools Clear Brook – Route 85 Departs at 7:05 AM Clear Creek – Route 15 Departs at 7:05 AM Clear Falls – Route 17 Departs at 7:05 AM Clear Lake– Route 92 Departs at 7:15 AM Clear Springs – Route 127 Departs at 7:15 AM STUDENTS MUST BE BOARDED BY DEPARTURE TIME.

Routes to Intermediates - Afternoons on Mondays -Thursdays Westbrook& Brookside – Route 75 Space Center & Seabrook – Route 89 Victory Lakes & Bayside – Route 17 Clear Creek & League City– Route 15 Creekside – Route 92 Clear Lake – Route 85 All buses arrive at the intermediate school between 3:30 and 4:00 pm, depending on traffic.

  10. Bus Routes on Friday Afternoons Brook– Route 75 Creek – Route 15 Falls– Route 27 Lake– Route 35 Springs– Route 119 Buses arrive at the zoned high school between 1:40 and 2:15 pm, depending on traffic.

Service Learning – Mrs. Kahlich • Every student must complete 20 hours per year of service learning • Hours must be completed between August 22 and March 31 • We provide 4 hours via class activity • To get a letter jacket, you need 150 hours over 4 consecutive semesters with a minimum of 50 hours per year • Hours do not count until after the first day of school for incoming students • More information on our website: http://chechs.ccisd.net/

  17. Internships – Mrs. Kahlich • Every student has two semesters of ISM (Independent Study Mentorship) class • Spring of Junior year and Fall of Senior year • Based on areas of interest • Representing Clear Horizons, CCISD, and SJC • Cannot be placed at a hospital unless service hours have been completed at the hospital (25 hours for Memorial Herman) – check age requirements
