  2. Update • Presented on IETF 77 & 78 • Update leaf discovery mechanism based on LDP.

  3. Motivation • There are two kind of mLDP applications: • Leaf initiated application • mLDP in-band signaled P2MP LSP • Statically configured P2MP LSP • Root initiated application • Multicast VPLS • P2MP PW • L3VPN multicast • This draft enables leaf initiated and root initiated application to share one P2MP LSP by multiplexing mechanism.

  4. T-LDP solution (update) P1 is the root of mLDP based P2MP LSP with FEC <X, Y> Root P1 Label withdraw with MP-FEC P2 Label mapping with imp-NULL Withdraw Msg Mapping Msg P3 P4 P5 P3 is adding to mLDP based P2MP LSP with FEC <X, Y> P5 is leaving from mLDP based P2MP LSP with FEC <X, Y>
