This Hazard Communication Program ensures that employees have access to safety information regarding the use of chemical products. The written program can be found on the RUSD District website, Site Administrative offices, and Risk Management. It is available to all employees and designated representatives for review. Employees are responsible for becoming knowledgeable about the information within the program and the chemicals used in the workplace. Control of hazardous materials in the workplace, including surveys, inventories, and awareness of new products, personal/donated substances, green products, and purchasing, is also addressed. Hazards are communicated to employees through product labeling, secondary container identification, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
