Branches of Science • Physical Science • Physics- study of matter and energy and the interactions between the two through forces and motions • Chemistry- the study of composition, structure, properties, and reactions of matter • Earth and Space Science • Geology- study of origin, history, and structure of Earth • Astronomy- study of universe beyond Earth • Oceanology- study of oceans and its components • Life Science • Biology- study of life and the internal interactions • Zoology- study of animals • Anatomy- study of the human body • Ecology- study of interactions between organisms and their environment
