Rezumat Proiectul isi propune cercetarea reactiei de oxidare rapida in faza gazoasa, in regim exploziv, in sisteme combustibil-aer si determinarea unui important parametru caracteristic al propagarii exploziei ca deflagratie: viteza normala de combustie. Proiectul se va realiza prin studiul experimental al propagarii exploziei sistemelor combustibil-aer in spatii inchise si prin modelarea cinetica a reactiei de oxidare in faza gazoasa. Drept combustibil reprezentativ se va alege propanul. obiectivele proiectului sunt: (1) determinarea vitezei normale de combustie din masuratori experimentale asupra flacarilor nestationare propan-aer; (2) determinarea vitezei normale de combustie prin modelarea cinetica a reactiei propan-oxigen, folosind un mecanism complex de reactie si tinand seama de pierderile energetice radiative. Activitatile experimentale vor consta din monitorizarea exploziilor realizate intr-o celula sferica inchisa, la amestecuri cu compozitie, temperatura si presiune initiala variabile, prin inregistrari ale presiunii si pozitiei frontului de flacara. Pornind de la marimile accesibile experimental, viteza normala de combustie va fi calculata pentru (a) stadiul incipient al propagarii, folosind legea cubica, si (b) intreaga durata a propagarii, folosind fractia de gaz ars, in ipoteza unei combustii adiabatice. modelarile cinetice vor fi realizate cu ajutorul unui pachet de programe adecvat, folosind un mecanism complex de reactie. Acesta ia in considerare un numar ridicat de specii chimice cu 1-3 atomi de carbon (moleculare si radicalice) si un numar insemnat de reactii elementare. Pe linga vitezele normale de combustie, modelarile cinetice furnizeaza si profilul termic si profilele de concentratie ale speciilor chimice din frontul flacarii. Ipotezele privind mecanismul folosit si amploarea pierderilor termice vor fi validate prin examinarea valorilor calculate si masurate ale vitezelor normale de combustie si ale concentratiilor principalilor produsi de reactie.

  3. Obiective 2009 Etapa intermediara • Imbunatatirea sistemului de dozare-amestecare a amestecurilor gazoase explozive si realizarea unor protocoale de lucru pentru diferitele etape ale masuratorilor ce folosesc amestecuri gazoase explozive. • Imbunatatirea sistemului tranzient de inregistrare a presiunii in cursul exploziilor in celula sferica inchisa, urmarind amestecuri gazoase cu temperatura variabila. Etapa finala • Determinarea vitezelor normale de combustie ale propanului in aer (sisteme cu concentratie variabila), la presiunea si temperatura ambianta, folosind relatia simplificata de calcul bazata pe utilizarea legii cubice. • Diseminarea rezultatelor cercetarii.
