Institution du Sacré Coeur • L' Institution du Sacré Coeur La Ville du Bois (ISC) is located 20 km in the South of Paris, in the heart of a town called " La Ville du Bois ". • Approximately 7000 people live there, it is coupled with the German city of TIRSCHENREUTH situated in Bavaria (Germany).   6. Location of the school THE ISC is implanted in the heart of a magnificent 19 hectare park including a lake. This situation creates an atmosphere of freedom and peace of mind adapted to the studies. The motto of our school is: The reason of being is to permit pupils to reach their own excellent level Justine RAGOT

ISC- European and international programs • In order to promoteforeignlanguages and their use, to takeintoaccount the European dimension and discoverother cultures, the ISC has decided, in 1997, to take part in Europeanprojects and in 2002 in international projects. • The ISC is an UNESCO associatedschool Justine RAGOT

  8. ISC Programs in middle school (Collège) The pupils can choose options: • Sport like Ping Pong in the first & second year • Foreign languages : Latin, German and Spanish in the second year • Various educational projects • One work experience in a firm during the 4th year Justine RAGOT

The ISC Organization • In our school there are : • a middle school (College) with 850 pupils in: 8 classes of 6ème : 1st year of middle school 7 classes of 5ième : 2nd year 7 classes of 4ième : 3rd year 7 classes de3ième : 4th year 1 specialized class for educational unit of integration Justine RAGOT

ISC- the highschool (Lycée) • a high school with 550 pupils in: 5 classes of 2nd : 1st year of high school Different Premières : 2nd year for litterature, economy, sciences Different Terminales : 3rd year for litterature, economy, sciences From the 2nd year, the pupils have to choose their specialization They learn 2 foreign languages (English and German or Spanish) and can choose options such as music, sport, theatre.
