  7. Listening Comprehension/Plot • The plot is the events in a story. • Remember a plot has a beginning, a middle, and an ending. It tells about the problem that the characters face and the solution to that problem. • The beginning introduces the characters, setting, and a bit about the main character’s problem. The problem or goal is fully explained in the middle and then solved or reached at the end of the story.
