  9. Advocate for adequate inclusion of drug users in treatment programs among decision makers (incl of healthcare system) and recipients of GF grants • Mobilizing AIDS treatment activists’ voices and experience in advocacy

  10. TTAG Thai AIDS Treatment Action Group • Using lessons from AIDS-2004 in Bangkok: • Satellite session on advocacy, efficacy, practice of ARV4IDU and linking of harm reduction • Collaboration of international partners • Mobilizing WHO and other UN agencies • Work with international media

Actions • Work with conference organizers and partners • Participation of harm reductionists and community from CEE/NIS applying for abstracts and scholarships deadline – October 11, 2004; CEE-HRN assistance • Motivating decision-makers and GF grant recipients (coordinators of Tx component) to participate letters to be sent out and harm reductionists could promote the conference
