  3. Why for teachers? • Teachers using iPads to store student work • iPad labs set up - different iPads each time • Managing multiple technology in a single classroom • Need to efficiently share information with parents/staff

  4. What we want to cover • What is iCloud? An overview of features and how to set this up with all devices - how to use iCloud across multiple devices • What is DropBox? How to set it up and use it - how do I share files? • What is Google Drive? How do I use this with my current Google system? How can I collaborate simultaneously? • How can I move files in and out of my different systems and see all of them • Can I create information in one system and have it automatically saved in another?

  7. iCloud - what you need to know • Free to create account • Multiple accounts can be created • Backups of documents and data (Pages, Keynote, Numbers, iMovie) • Sync notes, calendar, reminders • Set up free email account • Photo Sharing

  8. One Teacher - Many iPads • Create an activity or template and any student can open it on any device • Free access online to all tools • Use a single class email account to see all work • Use Photostream effectively - iPad originals or for projects where you need to share pictures
