  3. (+) Plicamine • 1999: Isolated from Crinum bulbispermum, a herbaceous plant native to South Africa • Used by Zulu, Sotho and Tswana people to treat rheumatism, aching joints, septic sores, varicose veins and kidney and bladder infections
