  2. วัตถุประสงค์/เป้าหมายของการติดตามตัวชี้วัด HIVDR-EWI • ประเมินโครงการการให้บริการรักษาด้วยยาต้านไวรัส มีการป้องกันการเกิดการดื้อยาต้านไวรัสในระดับที่เหมาะสม • ประเมินปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเกิดปัญหาดื้อยาต้านไวรัส โดยเฉพาะในประเทศที่การตรวจทางห้องปฏิบัติการเชื้อดื้อยายังไม่พร้อม • ติดตามในสถานบริการที่มีการให้บริการยาต้านไวรัสทุกแห่งหรือสถานบริการที่เป็นตัวแทน • มีข้อมูลสำรวจสถานบริการที่ให้บริการการรักษาด้วยยาต้านไวรัสเป็นรายปี (site profiles) รวมทั้งเป็นข้อมูลในการแปลผลค่าตัวชี้วัดต่างๆ • เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานทางสาธารณสุขที่นำไปสู่การปฏิบัติเพื่อป้องกันปัญหาการเกิดเชื้อเอชไอวีดื้อยาในอนาคต
