Part of the Shangri-la chain of hotels, World class luxurious facilities include 547 rooms and top of the line resort and spa amenities. Industry: Hospitality Company: Shangri-la Mactan Resort and Spa Period: March 2004 - Present Area: Cebu, Philippines Sales Representative: Ms. Kristie Linayan Marketing Manager: Vanessa Tan PROBLEM : Terrible foul odors from the Waste water Treatment area., reaching guest areas. SOLUTION Initially, 4L of Super Chemzyme IV Plus then reduced to 1L a day.. RESULTS • Foul odors eliminated within • a week. • Scum collection significantly • minimized • Shangri-la enjoyed satisfactory • BOD of 45-55. After using • Super Chemzyme IV plus, • BOD was reduced to 5 Picture 1 (if before and after, put the dates on the pictures) 2008: No more scum at settling tank Scum build-up MONTH YEAR MONTH YEAR JUNE 2007 • Renovations and expansions increased waste water flow and Shangri-la also upgraded to a stronger solution: BIOAMP RESULTS Maintained low BOD levels averaging 5-8.
