  1. Site Description October 18 to November 5, 2004 for continuous hourly measurements. October 16 to November 11, 2004 for 24 flask samples collecting.

  2. System Column Calibration Dual sorbent trap, dual column, dual detector (FID), Agilent 6890 GC PLOT : Al2O3/KCl(30m x 0.32mm, df=8µm) DB-1 (J&W, USA) Calibration was performed before and after the campaign by 50 species. Instrumentation

  3. Result and Discussion

  4. VOC Comparison and LPG car exhaust LPG alkane: propane iso-butane n-butane R2 = 0.9 High coherence In-situ : 24% Canister : 27%

  5. In Taipei, R2 = 0.3 R2 = 0.9

  6. Effect of LPG vehicles on OFP LPG is a better choice of fuel than gasoline because of its low OFP.

  7. The synchronicity of LPG alkanes with NO and propylene suggest LPG linked to vehicular exhaust. LPG is the major source of VOC in downtown Guangzhou. The LPG alkanes accounts for 24% of TVOC in Guangzhou, its contribution to OFP only 7%. LPG emissions are increasing in morning and evening rush hlurs, as well the nootime break. Conclusion
