IN THE OHIO VALLEY. • THE SOUTH DID NOT LIKE THE TARIFF BECAUSE IT BENEFITED THE NORTH, WHEREAS THE SOUTH PAID FOR NO IMPROVEMENTS IN THEIR STATES.
