  7. Noah and His Family of Faith • By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Hebrews 11:7

  8. Noah and His Family of Faith • Pitch (verb) = øôÇkÈ kaphar • primitive root; to cover (specifically with bitumen) • figuratively to expiate or condone, to placate or cancel:—appease, make (an) atonement, • Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance

  14. As The Days Of Noah • As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of man. Matthew 24:36-39

  15. The Coming Judgment • Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. • For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. Isaiah 26:20,21

  16. In Noah’s Day • People were doing normal things: • Eating and drinking • Planting and building • Marrying and giving in marriage • But they chose to remain unmoved by the signs and the warnings given by Noah • Consequently all but eight were swept away!

  20. Noah’s New World • The mountains rose, the valleys sank down to the place which thou didst appoint for them. • Thou didst set a bound which they should not pass, so that they might not again cover the earth. Psalm 104:6-8

  21. God’s Covenant with Noah • And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. Genesis 9:9,11

  22. God’s invitation to us is the same today as it was in Noah’s day: Enter into the ark of safety, Jesus Christ, before it is too late.
