  1. What Should we do to get Holy Spirit? 1) Acts2/38,’’repent of the sins. Peter said to them repent and be baptized and every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ. So that your sins may be forgiven, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit repentance -confession-conversion-Holy Spirit... (1cor.12.31)

  2. 2) Thirst and Desire: • Desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Then should covet earnestly the best gifts (strive for the greater gift and I will show you a still more excellent way (1 cor.12 31)

  3. Jn.7/37.on the last day of the festival the great days while Jesus was standing there he cried out. Let anyone who is thirsty come to me, and let the one who believes in me drink, as the S S said, out of the believers heart, shall flow rivers of living water. • Rev 22/17 b. “And let everyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who wishes take the water of life as a gift.’’

  4. 3) ASK • Ask and you shall receive. Lk.11/12-13.Is there anyone among you, if your child asks for a fish will give a snake instead of a fish? If the child asks for an egg, will give a scorpion? If then who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more the heavenly father will give. Holy Spirit to those who ask him.

  5. 4) Call out • Call out to the lord .Rom 10/13’’.Every one who calls upon the name of the lord will be saved (to call out the name of Jesus Christ you need Holy Spirit.)

  6. 5) Lay Hands • Laying of hands by the elders. • 1. Tim 4/14’’Do not neglect the gift that is in you which was given to you through prophesy with laying on of the hands by the council of elders. • 2. Tim1/6-7 for this reason I remind to rekindle the gifts of Go that is within you through the laying on of my hands. For Gd did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.

  7. Acts 8/14-18 peter and john prayed on the believers of Samaria they were filled with Holy Spirit. • Acts19/6-7’’Paul in Ephesus .They had not heard of the Holy Spirit. But they had received the baptism of john laid hands and they prayed in tongues
