  3. Course Aim Teaching the students all about the drawing methods and techniques using CAD programs in 2D Architectural drawings and knowledge of printing in Auto-CAD. Introducing the different examples and techniques.

  4. a- Knowledge and Understanding a.1 Define Essential facts, concepts, principles relevant to building design. a.7 Desribe all Preliminary and final design drawing methods and techniques using CAD a.8 Explain Up-to-date technology relevant to Architecture. Interpret hatching and dimension commands Show different examples and techniques of hatching and dimension Describe area, perimeter, layers Identify dynamic blocks. Show the measurement of house area and using of blocks Explain how to use library and samples Show plotting technicality and viewports

  5. b- Intellectual Skills b.1 formulate Systematically and creatively sound architectural designs. b.6 Select and apply appropriate IT tools to a variety of engineering problems.

  6. c- Professional Skills c.1 Prepare technical drafts and detailed drawings manually and using CAD c.4 Use appropriate computer-based support tools and software packages.

  7. d- General Skills Communicate effectively within multidisciplinary team. d.3 Able to work individually & under constraints d.4 Demonstrate efficient IT capabilities. d.6 Search for information and adopt life-long self learning.
