  1. Ochlocknee Watershed The Ochlocknee River originates in Worth County, GA Flows 190 miles south and Southeast through Florida. Panhandle It then empties into the Gulf of Mexico at Ochlocknee Bay. It starts at an elevation of 420 feet End up flowing into lake Talquin Watershed totals 2,677 sq. mi.

  4. Cultural details • They hold festivals to remember what they did in the past time • Some of those things include: Atlatl throwing, Flint Knapping, and Deer Hide Brain Tanning.

  5. Flint knapping • The art of flint knapping started when one of the hominids cracked one rock against another and created a sharp edge and said “I can cut something with this”. This happened in Africa over 1 million years ago.

  6. Atlatl Throwing • It is a arrow or spear that fits into a hollow handle or shaft and you throw it. Indians started this this used for hunting fun.

  7. Deer Hide Brain tanning • The natives used this technique to manufacture fine suede leather used to make clothing and other items. Deer have been preferred for this task. This is where buck skin got its name. This is what the natives called there pants.
