  1. Celebrate the Dream10th Anniversary SeasonSo Cal Dream 2012

  2. Who is So Cal Dream In the Fall of 2001 a group of people gathered in a small music study room at Cerritos College to discuss the formation of an all age performing unit for those who had aged out of junior corps and wanted to continue their love for the activity. As a result, the So Cal Dream was born.

  3. Who is eligible to march with SoCal Dream? 15 to 17 years old: A family member, band director, or other approved sponsor or guardian must be involved with the corps as volunteer, member, or staff.    18 to 21 years old: Membership is conditional. If you have the opportunity, march DCI. 22 years old and up: March until your body tells you no.

  4. What does it cost to join SoCal Dream? Our low dues make SoCal Dream one of the most economical corps to march. The dues cover hiring a world-class staff to teach the corps as well as some of the very best visual designers and music arrangers available.  In addition to dues, there are also tour fees to pay for transportation and housing.  Our tour staff shops around for the best prices available to keep the cost to each member as low as possible. SoCal Dream plans to take two tours, including a weekend bus trip to DCI competitions in Northern California, and a trip to the 2012 DCA World Championships in Rochester, New York on Labor Day Weekend.  We know that money can be very tight and finding funds to join can be difficult.  To help, we offer many different fundraising opportunities for members to offset their out of pocket expense.

  5. What do I need to become a part of SoCal Dream? You need a great attitude, an open mind, and an ability to consistently make our weekend rehearsals.  Typically, we rehearse one or two weekends per month in the winter then expand our weekend schedule as the summer competition season approaches.  We understand that schedule conflicts may arise and you may need to miss a rehearsal, and we try to work with this.  However, SoCal Dream competes at the world-class level in DCI and DCA competition, so your attendance at rehearsals is very important.
