  2. Animal Family/ Description • Tigers are mammals. • They have sharp teeth to bite their food. • Tigers are really big. They could weigh up to 340 lbs.

  3. Habitat • The place they live is a place with trees in the forest. • They live in tropical countries. • Countries are protecting tigers.

  4. Family Life • Tigers have three or two cubs. • They give live birth. • The mom tiger teaches the cubs to hunt.

  5. Diet • Tigers are carnivores. • Carnivores are meat eaters. • They eat animals alive.

  6. Predators/Prey • Tiger’s prey is wild hogs and deer. • They try to avoid bears and elephants. • Tigers attack humans to save themselves.
