ENGLISH VOWELS. 組員 : 鄭李淑珠 na1c0015 楊小萱 na1c0027 李嘉麟. [ aN ] [au] [ eN ][ ou ][CN] [ ju ]. 雙元音 ( 雙母音 ). 何謂雙母音 主要以圖 4.2 為依據比較出 America & BBC 發音上音質上的差別 及其他地區 (Thames Estuary…). Diphthongs 雙元音. 母音 + 滑音 都含有一個母音的音 以滑音作結尾 第ㄧ個部份的母音較明顯 ( 會在較不顯著的母音下標示其方法有兩種 :[ aN][a N ] ).

  4. Diphthongs 雙元音 • 母音+滑音 • 都含有一個母音的音 • 以滑音作結尾 • 第ㄧ個部份的母音較明顯 • (會在較不顯著的母音下標示其方法有兩種:[aN][aN] )

  8. [au]how how的開頭音和high很相似 Owl 的開頭與[W]---had [D-H-u]→ how now brown cow

  9. [eN] hay American English starting with a vowel[D]---head

  10. Midwest American[N]---hid • Estuary English(larger diphthong) ---mate • Others---higher vowel[e]

  11. [OU] hoe 和[eN]形成的方式相似 American---high-low British---front-back

  12. [ju]cue 不同於其他雙元音，明顯的音發生在末端 只有一個母音在其中 常把它視為子音+母音 為何把它視為雙元音? Ex: [pje][kje]
