  2. Art Directors • Nature of Work - Art directors are responsible for the visual style and images in magazines, newspapers, product packaging, and movie and television productions. They create the overall design of a project and direct others who develop artwork and layouts. • Working Conditions - About 15 percent of art directors worked for advertising and public relations firms in 2012. Others worked for newspaper and magazine publishers, specialized design services firms, and motion picture and video industries. • Education/Skills- Most of these occupations require a four-year bachelor's degree, but some do not. • Job Outlook- Employment of art directors is projected to grow 3 percent from 2012 to 2022, slower than the average for all occupations. Art directors will continue to be needed to oversee the work of graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, and others who design artwork and layouts.

  3. Graphic Designers • Nature of Work- Graphic designers create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports. • Working Conditions - Many of these workers are employed in specialized design services, publishing, or advertising, public relations, and related services industries. In 2012, about 24 percent of graphic designers were self-employed. • Education/ Skills –Most of these occupations require a four-year bachelor's degree, but some do not. • Job Outlook - Employment of graphic designers is projected to grow 7 percent from 2012 to 2022, slower than the average for all occupations. Graphic designers are expected to face strong competition for available positions.

Multimedia Artists and Animators • Nature of Work- Multimedia artists and animators create animation and visual effects for television, movies, video games, and other forms of media. • Working Conditions - Multimedia artists and animators held about 68,900 jobs in 2012. In 2012, about 57 percent of workers were self-employed. • Education/Skills-Most of these occupations require a four-year bachelor's degree, but some do not. • Job Outlook- Employment of multimedia artists and animators is projected to grow 6 percent from 2012 to 2022, slower than the average for all occupations. Projected growth will be due to increased demand for animation and visual effects in video games, movies, and television.

  7. In Conclusion… My top three careers include, art director, graphic designer, and multimedia artist and animator. An art director are in charge of visual styles in various situations such as magazines, newspapers, or even product packaging. Graphic designers design visual concepts for advertisements, brochures, and etc. A multimedia artist or animator creates animations and artwork for television, video games, and other forms of media. All careers are found to have a good salary yearly. Citations are included as to where I found all this information.
