  1. COMPARISON OF LIFETIME AND THROUGHPUT Wireless Body Area Sensor Networks (WBASNs) consist of small sensors deployed on or implanted inside the human body for monitoring health. Energy conservation of these sensors while, guaranteeing a required level of performance is a challenging task. Energy efficient routing schemes are designed for longevity of network lifetime. In this paper, we propose a routing protocol for measuring the fatigue of soldier. Three sensors are attached with soldier's body that monitors specific parameters. Our proposed protocol is an event driven protocol and takes three scenarios for measuring the fatigue of soldier. We implemented our protocol on MATLAB. In simulations we compare network lifetime, throughput, remaining energy and fatigue of soldier for all three scenarios. ABSTRACT COMSATS Institute of IT,Islamabad. S. Faisal , N. Javaid Measuring Fatigue of soldiers in Wireless Body Area Sensor Networks CONCLUSION Energy saving of sensor node is a challenging task for researchers nowadays.Inthis paper we proposed an event driven routing protocol for WBASN. specifically, three nodes are attached with soldier's body to monitor his/her heart beat, body temperature and glucose level in blood, and further measures fatigue of soldier. Our proposed protocol takes three scenarios for measuring the fatigue of soldier i.e. (1) walking, (2) slow running and (3) fast running. Results shows that our protocol performs better in terms of network lifetime and throughput. SIMULATIONS RESULTS NETWORK TOPOLOGY SCENARIOS FOR MEASURING FATIGUE • Following are three scenarios for measuring fatigue of soldier: • Soldier is walking ( 3.0 miles per hour) • Soldier is running slowly (5.0 miles per hour) • Soldier is running very fast (7.0 miles per hour) FATIGUE OF SOLDIER
