  3. Homework • Homework should be written in the agenda in class. Reading logs, vocabulary work and study for quizzes are typical kinds of homework for reading. • Homework can be accessed on teacherweb at: http://teacherweb.com/MD/lkms/lkatzen/ or http://TeacherWeb.com/MD/lkms/hjackson/

  4. Reading Logs • Fill out reading log information completely • Should be signed weekly • Required to read 100 minutes a week • Checked weekly, last class of the week, see teacherweb for due dates

  5. Vocabulary • Study words at home, copied packet kept in vocabulary section of students’ binders. • Create flash cards or a flip book to study. Can be reviewed nightly. • Test about every 2 weeks, listed on teacherweb

  6. Core Plus Students are sent out to other grade 6 teachers • Vocabulary extension activities • Comprehension reinforcement • Read for goal of completing 25 books for Reading Log Homework
