HARMONY: Mögliche Ziele 1.      Erfahrungsaustausch und fachliche sowie finanzielle Unterstützung in der Aufbauphase des Biosphärengebiets Schwäbische Alb 2.      Gemeinsame Vermarktung der Biosphärenreservate als attraktive Turismusdestinationen und als Marke für nachhaltiges Wirtschaften 3.      Gegenseitiger Erfahrungsaustausch und Lernen von erfolgreichen Praktiken weltweit bezüglich Schutz und Nutzung von Naturressourcen 4.      Gemeinsame, wissenschaftlich begleitete Entwicklung von Anpassungsstrategien hinsichtlich Globalisierung und Klimawandel 5.      Erarbeitung und Publikation von Strategien und Materialien für den Aufbau und das Management von Biosphärenreservaten 6.      Fortbildung der Mitarbeiter der involvierten Partnerinstitutionen und Bereicherung mit internationalen Erfahrungen als soziales Kapital 7. Kleinere Investitionen im Biosphärengebiet Schwäbische Alb möglich, z.B. zur Förderung der Vermarktung regionaler Produkte etc.
