Those products were first recycled in Europe more than 10 years ago through a process that has a smaller carbon footprint and is more efficient than alternative processes that require stripping away the plastic, removing the ink and salvaging the remaining paper. The manufacturing process is environmentally friendly and does not use added glue, water or chemicals.
