  1. Klebsiella Pneumoniae - Let’s Find out More About this Bacteria!

  2. Some people are not aware of this kind of bacteria so let’s throw some light on what we call klebsiella pneumoniae! Klebsiella pneumoniae are basically bacteria that exist in faeces or intestines of human beings. You can expect severe infections if they spread throughout the body making a person get super sick. The infection can also spread to different parts like the bladder, blood, brain, wounds, eyes and more! As a result of this, klebsiella pneumoniae symptoms are a follow up of the spread in the body. If your body has low immunity then you are more susceptible to infection caused by klebsiella pneumoniae and naturally less if your immunity is good. The increased usage of antibiotics also increases the chances of infection.

  3. Let’s discuss the causes of klebsiella pneumoniae infections! The first and foremost cause of klebsiella pneumoniae infection was seen as the bacteria, klebsiella pneumoniae that enters the body in one way or the other. The gram- negative bacteria always targets the bodies that have weaker immunity levels. The weak immunity is usually a result of diseases, old age or others! It can also transmit through interpersonal contacts in some cases. People can get infected through medical devices used in clinics, hospitals or nursing homes like the urinary catheters used to drain urine away or tubes used for breathing. Klebsiella pneumoniae can also be sexually transmitted and can occur due to co-infection as well!

  4. As we discussed above, klebsiella pneumoniae infections take place to people with lower immunities. The different risk factors include surgeries, wounds, diabetes, alcoholism, kidney failure, lung disease, cancer, organ transplant and many others! With respect to the treatment, doctors prefer prescribing medicines to the patient. However, nowadays the antibiotic-resistant factor has caused a lot of problems. If you want to get a check- up done, remember that there are a lot of time restrictions attached to infections caused by klebsiella pneumoniae. In case, you feel high temperature, chills or difficulty in breathing- it is recommended you make a visit to the doctor immediately. The klebsiella pneumoniae spreads infection very quickly and it is better to rule it out before it is spread all over the body. One should never take an infection by klebsiella pneumoniae very lightly! It is very essential to continue to prescribed medicines till the time you are asked to do so
