  1. HCl, V, v´=14, vs J´, power and operator(!), • Agust,heima,...REMPI/HCl/HCl,agust07-/HClmass V(14)state Q0-7-161007kmak.pxp Agust,www,...rempi/hcl/HCl,agust07-/HClmass V(14)state Q0-7-161007km.ppt • Comparison of VHW andf KM data • comparison of independent collected data • Power dependence effects • J ´ dependence effects • - relevant to relative mass intensities

  2. From KM:

  3. 35Cl+ Ca. Normalized to H35Cl+ J´=5 J´=6 J´=7

  4. H+ J´=0 J´=7 J´=6 No clear trend

  5. Comment: I(35Cl+)/I(H35Cl+) increases for J´>4, i.e as J´=5 <J´=6<J´=7 whereas I(H+)/I(H35Cl+) is approximatelly constant It is pitty that J´= 8 was not recorded The following experiment was a test for the relative peak intensities for J´=7:

  6. Suggests that the focus point is not on the beam(?) From:Agust,heima,...REMPI/HCl/HCl,agust07-/HClmass V(14)state Q0-7-161007kmak.pxp i.e.km data From:Agust,heima,...REMPI/HCl/HCl,agust07-/HClmass Vstate Q7-02007km.pxp

  7. Comment: -Hence it looks as if the I(35Cl+) / I(H35Cl+) -ratio is reproducable Now lets compare these results with those from Wang, i.e.

  8. J´=7 H35Cl+ J´=7 35Cl+ VHW KM: From:Agust,heima,...REMPI/HCl/HCl,agust07-/HClmass Vstate Q7-02007km.pxp Agust,heima, ..../REMPI/HCl/HCl,agust07-/HCl VQ7,8,PvsI-210907vhwak.pxpi.e. From VHW, J´=7

  9. J´=7 J´=7 VHW KM From:Agust,heima,...REMPI/HCl/HCl,agust07-/HClmass V(14)state Q0-7-161007kmak.pxp i.e.km data Agust,heima, ..../REMPI/HCl/HCl,agust07-/HCl VQ7,8,PvsI-210907vhwak.pxpi.e. From VHW, J´=7

  10. Comment:slides 7 & 8 => • VHW and KM compare nicely about the relative structure/intensities • for J´=7 (V, v´=14) • What about J´=8? • Look at agust,heima,......HCl,agust07-/HCl VQ7,8,PvsI-250907vhw.pxp • VHW did perform three independent measurements on J´=8: • Two 210907 (showing peak on high mass side) and • One 250907 (showing no peak on high mass side) • They “roughly” look the same, hence I decided to look at the • one from 250907:

  11. Power dependence: Normalized: H35Cl+ 35Cl+ J´=8

  12. 5 windows H+ 0 window

  13. J´=8 J´=7 VHW KM .agust,heima,......HCl,agust07-/HCl VQ7,8,PvsI-250907vhw.pxp From:Agust,heima,...REMPI/HCl/HCl,agust07-/HClmass V(14)state Q0-7-161007kmak.pxp i.e.km data

  14. Comment: • J´=8 very little power dependence of relative intensities: • possibly slight change in I(H+)/I(H35Cl+) and I(35C+)/I(H35Cl+) (?) • I(35Cl+) / I(H35Cl+) almost the same for J´=7 and 8.
