  2. If you could share that time when… maybe you couldn’t explain it; you just felt it. that time you realized you could see … The magic of a moment Perhaps it took your breath away, or simply made you smile; Click for audio

  3. How will you share the “Magic?” Perhaps you play an instrument or sing. Submit a musical composition! Last year’s national top award winner for musical composition was a middle school student… just like you.

  4. Perhaps you dance and have always aspired to choreograph, as did… Racquel Charles, who choreographed the award winning “True Colors”.

  5. Can that moment only be captured by a silent, still image? Photography “Diversity Means…”, an entry from a FL student, last year.

  6. Or through your creativity, will you visually give that moment a voice? Visual Arts Also from FL, this entry expressed the struggle sometimes felt by “Diversity Means…”

  7. Maybe Scorsese, or Frost have inspired you… Literature & Film Production may also be submitted to conveythat magical moment. How will you tell your story?

  8. What are you waiting for? • With prizes and scholarships to be awarded… • A chance for local, state and national recognition… • And the opportunity for local artists to look over your work and offer you constructive feedback … We believe there is some magic to be made. Now is the time…

  9. Applications and rules/guidelines may be found in the school office or via the PTSA link on Hart’s page of the RCS website. New this year: a Special Artist category has been addedfor students with disabilities. The Magic of a Moment Now accepting entries. Final day for submissions will be Friday, November 9th.
