  3. “ROMANIAN TEXTILE CONCEPT” The industry pillar is represented by the "ROMANIAN TEXTILE CONCEPT", a professional association founded in 2011 by the unconditional agreement of 10 founding companies, manufacturing companies with old traditions in the garments, knitwear, footwear and leather goods industry from the Bucharest - Ilfov area. Nowadays the association has a total of 28 members, out of which 25 are producing companies, the rest being design or textile services companies. * values for 2012 Due to the quality and complexity of the products and services offered, the companies are recognized internationally, working for customers like: Chanel, Fred Sabatier, Oliver Grant, Devernois, El Corte Inglés, Dolce&Galbana, Dress Master, Paul&Shark, Benetton, Kenzo, Lanvin, NG Nilsson, Inditex, Elite, Naive, Comptoir de Cotonniers, Calvin Klein, French Connection, Un Jour Ailleurs, Sandro, IKKS, One step, Hugo Boss, Hennes & Mauritz, Yves Saint Laurent, Oviesse, Pierre Cardin, etc. TEXTEH VI CONFERENCE - THE FUTURE OF TEXTILES - October 2013

  11. “ROMANIAN TEXTILE CONCEPT” THE “NOATEX” POLE OF COMPETITIVENESS The pole was initiated in 2012, it has national representativeness and is formed by: - The “Romanian Textile Concept (RTxC)” cluster – South Muntenia and Bucharest - Ilfov regions - The “Astrico NE” cluster –Northeast region, with headquarters in Piatra Neamt - The “Traditii Manufactura Viitor” Cluster (TMV) – Southeast region, with headquarters in Focsani - Higher education institutions - R&D institutes - catalyst companies The pole has established a development strategy for 2012 – 2020.
