Tweening along a path

Tweening along a path. Select Frame 1 and place the item you want to move on the stage. Object on Frame 1. Add a key frame where you want the animation to end, create a motion tween (right mouse click) but DO NOT MOVE YOUR ITEM. Click here to insert a MOTION GUIDE.

  1. Tweening along a path

  2. Select Frame 1 and place the item you want to move on the stage Object on Frame 1

  3. Add a key frame where you want the animation to end, create a motion tween (right mouse click) but DO NOT MOVE YOUR ITEM

  4. Click here to insert a MOTION GUIDE

  5. With frame 1 of the motion guide selected, use the pencil tool to draw the line you want your item to follow

  6. With frame 1 selected, attach the item to the beginning of the guide – it should “snap” to the line

  7. Now select the final key frame and snap your item to the end of the line

  8. Select Orient to Path to make the movement more realistic

  9. Done
