  3. What Is Phi? • Phi is the Golden ratio in art. • Also the 21st letter in the Greek alphabet.

  4. Phi in Architecture • Used to make Designs for buildings and monuments.

  5. The Roman Coliseum • Because of Phi the Romans have the 21st letter in their alphabet • Known as “Golden House” • Made Round so it could have a Mobile Roof

  6. Phi In the Coliseum • Phi makes the Coliseum have the seating order • Phi has the stadium shape and size to a perfect proportion. • Phi has the golden spiral effect on it as well

  7. Pyramids of Giza • Built by the Egyptians in the B.C era. • Used as Temples for the after life • One of the Wonders of the world • One of the largest Architectures in the world

  8. Phi in the Pyramids • Has the Triangular spiral effect • Makes it stand and not collapse into itself • Able to make the pyramids proportionate to itself.

  10. What I learned • Phi is in a lot of buildings and designs. • Phi is used everyday in a lot of things like math, art, and Building • Mr. Bishop learned how to take over my computer • Complicated math was thought of before the time of many experts we know of today.
