  14. Policy Committee Actions • On behalf of the Planning Council submitted testimony for City Council Hearing on HASA Policy Changes Policy Briefs • Syringe exchange • Truvadaas PrEP • Broadening our purview to include other illnesses such as Hepatitis C and mental illness

Needs Assessment Presentations • Presentation on Ryan White Part A Agency Client Satisfaction Survey • Presentation on the third year of implementation of the 2009-2012 Comprehensive Plan Actions • Vetted the Comprehensive Plan for HIV/AIDS Services in the NY EMA for 2012-2015 (submitted to HRSA in May 2012) • Looked back at the old (2002) Needs Assessment and forward to the new (2012) Needs Assessment

Integration of Care Action (Development of Housing Services Directive) • Input from multiple speakers:  • Director of Housing in the Bureau of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control • Public Health Solutions • Human Resources Administration • CHAIN Project • HIV Law Project • Housing Works staff and consumers • Project Hospitality staff

Integration of Care • Action (Development of Housing Services Directive) • Discussed considerations and recommendations for revising current directive • Created a new housing services directive covering three types of housing services: • Short-term rental assistance • Short-term housing services • Housing placement assistance • New directive voted out of committee in June 2012 • New directive approved by Planning Council in June 2012

  21. Finance Committee • Action • Reviewed quarterly commitment and expenditure reports • Negotiated and approved an FY 2012 Planning Council support budget • Created a checklist to document Assessment of the Administrative Mechanism

PSRA Action • Completed FY12 Scenario Plans for possible reductions in the grant award • Completed final FY12 Spending Plan • Completed FY12 Reprogramming Plan • Revised PSRA service category ranking tool • Used revised tool to create newly ranked service priorities for the FY13 grant application • Approved a preliminary FY13 spending plan necessitating a waiver application from the 75% minimum core services requirement
