  14. What is SmartRecruiting? Answer: It is the SmartOffice module that allows users to view, track, and report on the recruiting process for their organization.

  15. How Does it Work? Answer: Start by outlining steps to follow for recruiting Enter steps into SmartRecruiting Enter specific position in SmartRecruiting Assign outlined steps to position Enter prospective recruits into SmartRecruiting and associate them with position Take each prospective recruit through steps

Terminology Workflow The step-by-step process of recruiting Pipeline A way of describing the workflow as a pipe or funnel through which prospective recruits enter at one end, and emerge from the other end as persons affiliated with your organization Candidate A person taken through the recruiting process; also the record in SmartOffice for that person Recruiter A SmartOffice user who has rights to the SmartRecruiting module

Terminology Position What a recruiter is recruiting for Stage A step in the workflow that is related to a specific Position Interview A sub-step of a Stage; specifically one where a Recruiter meets with a Candidate. Action Another sub-step of a Stage; can involve pretty much anything that isn’t an Interview

Example of SmartRecruiting Workflow • Candidate begins in Stage #1 • Recruiter completes the Action for Stage #1, then completes Stage #1 itself • Recruiter chooses whether or not to progress Candidate to Stage #2. • If Candidate progresses to Stage #2, Recruiter completes relevant Interviews and Actions, and then Stage • Process continues until Candidate reaches last Stage and is hired…or is rejected along the way Position Stage #1 Action Stage #2 Interview Action Stage #3 Interview Action Stage #4
