  9. Hospital Interviews • First Patient Exposure • Professionalism • Infection Control Issues

  11. Isolation Precautions • Extra measures used for patients who are known or suspected to have certain contagious diseases or antibiotic resistant organisms. • Always comply with posted isolation precautions

Isolation Precautions • Contact Precaution • Wear gown and gloves • Used for patients with Clostridium difficleand resistant organisms such as MRSA & VRE • Contact/Droplet Precautions • Wear gown, gloves and mask • Used for pediatric patients with upper respiratory infections • Droplet Precautions • Wear regular isolation mask • Used for patients with influenza and pertussis
