  4. How we can help you • Staff development review • Your opportunity to discuss and identify your staff development needs • Some needs will take priority

  5. Types of Training 1.Internal courses • Includes mandatory training in your probationary year 2.External short courses 3.Extended study-can only apply once probationary year is completed 4.Specialist literacy/numeracy courses 5.Initial Teacher Training-PTLLS/CTLLS/PCE/PGCE

  6. How to apply • Ask your line manager’s permission • Internal courses-contact Elizabeth • External short courses-complete an SD1-manager must sign this • Extended Study-complete an Extended Study Application • Initial Teacher Training- complete a TED1 • Specialist courses- complete Specialist Course Application

  7. Don’t forget to claim your expenses • Complete your evaluation form • Any questions Good luck at the College from Staff Development
