  2. MVR Criteria… • A formula to establish a drivers eligibility to operate a motor vehicle on behalf of your organization • Used initially to determine eligibility • Used as a tool to recertify your drivers annually

  3. MVR Criteria… • Not based on a Points System • Based on the individuals record of violations • Based on the frequency and severity of those motor vehicle violations • A simple to use formula which accounts for the drivers three year MVR performance record

  4. MVR Criteria… • Type “A” ViolationsDWIDUIReckless DrivingFleeing the SceneEludingDrag RacingSuspensionDriving while Suspended

  5. MVR Criteria… • Type “B” ViolationsAllaccidents regardless of fault. Exception : cases where the driver was stopped and struck from behind by another vehicle

  6. MVR Criteria… • Type “C” ViolationsAll moving violations including exceeding posted limit regardless of the amount exceeded, Illegal/reckless lane change violations and red light offenses

  7. Decline, Assign Probation, Re-assign, Terminate • 1 or More Type “A” – Preceding 36 Months • 2 or More Type “B” - Preceding 36 Months • 3 or More Type “C” - Preceding 36 Months • 1 Type “B”, 2 Type “C” - Preceding 6 Months
