Start up Anim8or, select VIEW – ALL and Materials (Ctrl+M). Getting started building a simple vehicle. Start with a box Drag from the center of the Top View pane Convert to Mesh. Choose Move Click-Drag in Front View pane to raise above ground level.

  1. Start up Anim8or,select VIEW – ALL and Materials (Ctrl+M)

  2. Getting started building a simple vehicle.Start with a box Drag from the center of the Top View paneConvert to Mesh

  3. Choose MoveClick-Drag in Front View paneto raise above ground level Choose Non-uniform scaleClick-Drag to make Narrower

  4. Select Cylinder • Click-drag it out in Top View • Double click on it to edit properties • Move it into place in Front/Top View

  5. Use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to Copy and Paste 3 more wheels MOVING them into placeusing the Front/Top views

  6. Time to color! • Select Materials Toolbar • Click NEW • Pick a color • Adjust the shade • OK • Select a part • Apply!

  7. Add more colors to your paletteand apply those to the remaining pieces

  8. Choose Drag-Select • Select all car pieces • “G” key to Group • Object – Export • Over write the file you wish OR type in a new name and edit the code!

  9. If the model is too large or small you can justuse Uniform-Scale to change the size.You may have to reposition it as well with MOVE before EXPORTING it again

  11. MORE EXTRA FUN with POINT editing! Objects that have been converted to MESHcan be modified Point by Point ! Choose WIREFRAME View, then Object/Point Edit And you should see little grab-handles at the corners of MESH wireframes Alternate use SELECT and MOVE to drag points and modify the shape 
