Wi-Fi Chart Sharing • This update allows for two Elite Ti2 units to be able to wirelessly share a map card inserted into a unit via the Wi-Fi connection • For instructions on connecting two Elite Ti2 units together please refer to the Elite Ti2 operator’s manual • Once two Ti2 units are wirelessly networked the user can see and select a map card from the wireless unit via the chart page • NOTE: Some functions on the “remote” display may not be available while the mapping card is being loaded to it wirelessly. If you are on the chart panel when a card is inserted in the other display you will see the message below, and your unit will be temporarily locked out while the data loads

Dual Mode Wi-Fi • The internal Wi-Fi can now connect to the internet and perform screen mirroring via the Link App at the same time. • Previously there were two Wi-Fi modes and users would switch between Client OR Access point. • The Wireless page has changed with wizards to connect to the Internet and to help connect mobile devices to the MFD

  12. Upload Sonar Log Simplification • Under “Storage” (previously called “Files”), there is a new quick access Sonar logs icon • This new organization provides quick access to Waypoint Management, Sonar Logs and to see active upload/download transfers

Upload Sonar Log Simplification • In the settings menu you can log into your C-MAP Genesis account to manage sonar log uploads • To connect and transfer • Connect your unit to the internet as shown in the previous section • Log into your C-MAP Genesis account or go to www.genesismaps.com to create an account • Once logged in you can manage transfers via the C-MAP Genesis feature in the Services menu of your unit

C-MAP Embark Sync • C-MAP Embark offers detailed nautical charts in a clear and sleek design, providing all the information you need to navigate or fish at anytime, anywhere. • C-MAP Embark covers seas and lakes worldwide and can be used seamlessly from a phone, tablet or computer. • You can now synchronize user created data such as routes, waypoints and tracks between C-MAP Embark and compatible MFDs • Use the unit's C-MAP Embark feature to synchronize between the unit and C-MAP Embark

  16. C-MAP Embark Sync: Create an Account • Install the C-MAP Embark App on your mobile device • Visit the Apple App store or Google Play store • On the App store / Play. Search for “C-MAP Embark” • The C-MAP Embark app is a free download • Or for PC/Mac, visit http://embark.c-map.com/start/en/front • Sign up for a user account and set a password • Open the App. It will prompt to Sign up • Select sign up with e-mail option, as you will need to create password that can be entered into your unit

C-MAP Embark Sync: Create an Account • To use C-MAP Embark on the app or the MFD a free Embark account is required. • Select “login” • Enter your email address , then click “Get started” • Enter your First and Last name • Click “ADD PASSWORD AND SIGN UP” button • Enter a password and confirm the password. This is the password that will be needed to enter into the C-MAP Embark feature on the MFD
