  3. What is Biological Science? • The study of life: molecules cells tissues organisms • how living organisms function • how they interact with each other • how they interact with the environment • how they evolve

  4. What topics can one study? Biology study of plants and animals including ecology and the environment

  5. What topics can one study? Biochemistry study of the molecules (Proteins, DNA) and chemistry of life

  6. What topics can one study? Biomedical Sciences Study of the cellular and molecular basis of human and animal health and disease

  7. What topics can one study? Pharmacology study of drugs – their design, development and use in medicine and research
