  1. Welcome to Math 2!! As you come in, please find your seat. There is a probability of 1 that you will not stay in the seat you sit in the entire semester. Please fill out the front side of the student information sheet while you await further instructions.

  2. Warm-up Everyday you will have a warm-up (bellringer) right here at the beginning of class. You are to do it daily (copy the problem and answer it and turn them in weekly for a grade. I will not take them late so always have them with you. The entire week may be completed on one single sheet of notebook paper. Here is the first one. The cost of gas is steadily increasing over time. When I started driving, it was $1.25 per gallon. Now it is approximately $3.40 per gallon. What word can we use to describe the rate of change?

  3. All about me 

  4. Now tell me about you! Fill out the student information sheet completely if you haven’t already done so. I need this information for myself in one handy place. Answer every part to the best of your ability.

  5. Rules RulesRules Syllabi are important for each class. I have graciously printed mine off; however it also can be found on the website as well. 

  6. Now you will need a pencil. We are going to take a test for CC Math 2. Do your best, read through and answer all questions. If you know how to do it, GREAT!! If not, at least try the problem and come up with some answer.
