  2. Main Menu Reception • The large dish brings in German, Spanish and English language programs from Deutsche Welle. • Dutch BVN, Chinese New Tang Dynasty, Filipino TV and 48 International Channels from Dish Network come down via smaller dishes shown in enlargement. MLB roof

  3. Main Menu Distribution Not only do we bring in programming, we also send it out. 15 channels originate from the racks in the LRC, pictured here. Programs appearing on our 15 channels are those requested by both faculty and students from the many we can receive.

  28. Distribution Main Menu This yellow sheet lists all the channels the LRC can receive. It’s posted at each viewing station in the Main Center, 2001 MLB and near each MLB basement classroom TV. Contact information for requests is at the top of the page and a link to information about program content is at the bottom. Click sheet to open in Acrobat.

  30. Live viewing Locations Main Menu More about the LRC Main Center The LRC Main Center, 2001 MLB, has 16 stations for individual and small group TV viewing. Instructions are posted on the desktop.

  31. Live viewing Locations Main Menu More about using the VVR (Video View Room) VVR reservation form To watch live Satellite TV in the VVR, tell an LRC staff member which channel you want. Then turn on the projector and press the AUX button on the VVR remote control unit shown here. To reserve the VVR for your class, click the link below.

  32. More about MLB basement classrooms Live viewing Locations Main Menu All odd-numbered MLB basement classrooms have UMTV, the campus cable system. So you can see any of the 15 channels which originate in the LRC, 24-hours a day. A list of the current line up is posted on the wall near each TV. Just select “TV” on the TV.

Live viewing Locations Main Menu More about UMTV on Campus UMTV is available in over 80 Campus buildingsincluding most University Housing Residence Halls, the Michigan Union, Michigan League, Fleming Building, Dental School, and Business School. UMTV is also available in the MLB 3rd Floor Conference room. Phone the German Dept Main office, 764-8018 to schedule.
