  3. Who is eligible? The SES is run by Anglia Ruskin’s Student Services, and is exclusive to ARU. Its is an annual survey of all undergraduateand postgraduatestudents who are NOT eligible for the National Student Survey (NSS). • So most students answering the SES will be in the first year of an FdA, the first or second year of a BA, or the second semester of an MA. • The SES is NOT open to MPhil or PhD students.

  4. What will I be asked? The SES will ask your opinion of a range of areas, including: • The teaching on your course • Assessment & Feedback • Academic support • Organisation & Management • Learning resources • Personal development • Overall satisfaction • Students’ Union

  5. How do I answer? You will receive an email from Student Services containing a unique link to the survey. Follow it to answer the SES. The SES is open from Friday, 1 March to Sunday, 31 March 2013. Answer in confidence: your responses will be collated by our Academic Office, and no identifying information will be released.

  6. What do we do with the results? Overall SES results are analysed on a university, faculty and departmental basis to help us identify areas where we are doing well, and where we can improve.
